If your ad is not among the categories listed below, send us an email at classifieds@capitalgazette.com. Make sure to include your company's name, address, contact name and daytime phone number.

PRIVATE PARTY RATES!

Private Party rates are for private individuals selling their personal merchandise and applies to cars, trucks, boats, SUVs, merchandise, roommates, etc.

GOOD $27*

  • In print - Ad will appear in the Capital newspaper for 7 consecutive days, and includes Wednesday and Saturday Maryland Gazette and Thursday Bowie Blade-News, Crofton News- Crier and West County Gazette. Each additional line in print is $2.00*. Rates are for private individuals only.*
  • Online - ad will appear for 7 days on MarylandOnlineClassifieds.com and includes up to 4500 characters, 1 image/photo, Buyer/Seller Communication and a Share Tool.

BETTER $39*

  • In print - ad will appear 14 consecutive days in The Capital Newspaper, includes (2) Wednesday and Saturday Maryland Gazettes, and (2) Thursday Bowie Blade-News, Crofton News-Criers, and West County Gazettes Each additional line in print is $2.50*. Rates are for private individuals only.*

FREE ADS

Maryland Online Classifieds offer FREE ads for merchandise priced under $299. Ad runs 7 consecutive days online up to 500 characters & in print up to 5 lines. 7 consecutive days in The Capital, (1) Wednesday and (1) Saturday in the MD Gazette, and (1) Thursday in our Bowie Blade News, Crofton News Crier and West county Gazette papers. Pets and Antiques are prohibited. Price must appear in the ad. Total price of the items being sold cannot exceed $299.

Please note there are no refunds for early cancellation.

All private party ads require prepayment with a VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card prior to the start date of the ad.

Hours of Operation

Our Classified Department is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for walk-in customers.

Methods of Payment

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, and American Express. If credit approval has not been previously established and you are not using a credit card, there is a $150 credit limit. Download a credit application now.

Deadlines

To assure your ad's start date, be sure to use our handy on-line form at least 2 full business days prior to print date.

Please note: The earliest your ad will be in print is Tuesday if you have placed the ad on the weekend (after 5:00 pm on Friday).
